Guys , would you date a girl smarter than you?

Would you date a girl who's more intelligent than you? and I'm talking noticeably smarter, would it bother you or intimidate you if she was faster and better at certain things and could think more logically and was just all around more intelligent? Just wondering.
Because there has been a study ( with a really small sample size though ) that said men like the idea of a smart woman but aren't likely to date them.
I've also been wondering , is this statement true? ' guys date women who are just as smart as them or less ' , so my point is do guys only date girls who are less intelligent than them or just as intelligent?

I married a girl who was not as smart as me. When I wanted to watch the History Channel, she wanted to watch fucking Disney! Seriously, what they hell did we have to talk about? And that is why my wife is an ex-wife.

Now I am with a girl who can outthink me. She challenges me. But I got lucky. She is smarter than I am, but not so much smarter that she'll get bored with me.

talking about me, i love it, intelligence on female is sexy because it break a certain stereotype, and i always love a company from someone "more" than me on anything because i can certainly learn something from them

addition : personally i dont care about how intelligence she is, i care about how much she can grow as a person. I was a dumb boy but now i'm way smarter, that's my point, i like human being growing into someone better

Guys date whoever they like. Smarter or dumber. Doesn't matter. There are many kinds of intellect but the least attractive kind of smart girl is the one who won't shut up about it. You can be smart all you want but if you shove it in peoples faces, no one's gonna like you. Man or woman.

I don't like "know it all" girls but I don't mind if she's smarter than me. I find bimbo and unintelligent girls way more unattractive than smart girls by the way lol , girls that are really dumb are usually the ones to let their looks guide them through life

I am fairly smart so it's hard to find girls in my day to day life that are smarter than me ( that's not me being cocky, I'm in highschool and people are idiots) but if a girls and guy are both smart and specialize in different subjects them You two can be a power couple

It vaires by person, but studies also show that women tend to be smarter in relationships. But I love smart girls, so i would date one smarter than me, but not everyone would. In general people don't like feeling dumb, so they tend to not like smarter people, especially if they are an ass about It

The problem is one that W. C. Fields best summed up with the saying "I wouldn't want to be in a club that would have me for a member." I'd be initially suspicious as to WHY she wanted to date me. But still willing; I don't turn down opportunities to socialize often! ;)

I wouldn't mind it. I mean im pretty bright as it is, but i feel like I've learned to accept that their is gonna be someone smarter than me. Now if you belittle me with it than it becomes an issue but if your smarter than me oh well.

It wouldn't bother me at all... but honestly I haven't met any women who are smarter than me. I have met plenty who think they are. Those women are annoying. I think I would find that attractive though...
