Well the people that know me well call me by my last name. Occasionally the girls will call me by my first name, which I definitely like a lot. It feels sweeter, but I do the same thing to girls like you. I'll be like, "How's my (name) doing today?" It feels more sincere than, "How are you?" I think it's just a preference, but it's not going to make or break the attachment.

i'm not a guy but I can relate with you in this situation for sure... It may or may not work but if he likes you also, he should realize that you call him by his name.. you know know like identifying him as an individual and not jus some random guy. I guess you don't have to do it all the time only sometimes, I think! hope this helped a little
on the other side of it, I like it when he'll say my name a lot, just seems really personal and what not. I think he has to actually have feelings for you first though.

If I also like the girl, I take that as a hint that she likes me back, so yes, it does make me feel more attach to her IF I like her.
If I don't like her, I still appreciate the fact that she acknowledged me as a person and is not just using me for something such as "Hey! Can you give me the answer to this?".
I would like it. It's more personable that way. It's like she's addressing ME as a person and not just me as a body standing there or some random conversation. Don't use it in every sentence or you'll sound fake, but use it when you call for him for example. Instead of just "hey" to get his attention, say "hey (name)". And use it occasionally in conversations.
I don't think of it as annoying or anything but the only time it really means something to me is when there's an argument, somethings clearly wrong with me, or in bed ;). It kind of gives me the feeling that they are trying to connect with me in some ways. Which is apparently what you're going for! My advice would be to only use when there's something flirty or important going on... not every time you two talk.
Depends what they're name is. If it's something like Youlooklikeyouhavesh*tinyoureyeball it may be incredibly irritating. If it's Dave I guess that would be okay though.
depends on the situation, and how much the guy is attracted to the female. bt it would be annoying if it was all the time.
I enjoy it. A nickname is even better. We definitely notice it.
