Guys, is it true when you like a girl a lot, you say her name a lot while talking to her?

Most people don't use each other names during conversations with each other. It seems pretty unnatural. I can say that when a guy has liked me I have never noticed him using my name during conversations. In fact, later, when you are in love or infatuated, people tend to not use each others' formal names, but use pet names instead, like "honey" or "baby". I would say a guy who is using your name is doing so because that is the way he talks.

thank you, because I read articles on how if a guy truly likes you he will say your name allot and it confused the heck out of me! :P and I noticed that this guy who we mutual feelings for each other doesn't really say my name, while me on the other hand I say his name if I want to complement him! :)

Saying someone's name, such as "Hello Mike" does make someone feel special. I use that at work (I am in management). People like hearing their name. I would use that dating too, but not repeat it over and over in conversations. It would go from being nice to sounding creepy.

It can mean they like you but the main reason for saying your name is that you have thier full attention, you're on thier mind for some reason, they're focused on you for some reason so liking you is a big possibility BUT it isn't guarenteed

well the guy I like and he likes me, he doesn't really say my name not unless he is calling me! so does that mean that he doesn't feel the same, and I like him more than he likes me? :(

he told me he likes me allot and that he cares about me! idk? I am really confused hun?!

Well if he's told you he likes you!?!?!?! Does he take an interest, give you his attention? Does he speak about you to other people?

see I don't know yet that's the problem but I do know every time I'm on Skype he talks to me, that he mad plans for us when he gets back home. we have only been on two dates when he came to visit his family for a week, and then he had to go back overseas to work, but we have been talking since September last year.

:) It's because you really like him that you check... just to confirm what he's told you, make you feel good about yourself? :) ?

You've got to remember that all these articles aren't true for every person. Just go with your heart on this one, reading and investigating will only makes you more worried lol, just accept his intentions, he's making an effort, he's your's ;)

yea, I do that with the guy I like as well at the beginning, but after that I only use his name to complement him!

I wouldn't use it a ton because it would look too obvious. If a guys like a girl and hears her name once they're not going to forget it.
