So I've had a crush on a guy for a few months now and I thought he was at least interested in me. He at one point asked me who I liked at a party (we're in college) and he has admitted that he doesn't like seeing other guys dance with me. But, when I ask to hang out with him (even with other people) he declines (not always but most of the time). The last time he declined I thought maybe he's not interested in me the way that I am (which is completely fine). I haven't reached out to him for a few days. And last night he texted me saying that he had my favorite food, he came buy and dropped it off and initiated a hug. I'm really confused by all of this. Is he just bored or does he see me as a friend?

Since he told you he doesn't like seeing you dancing with other guys he obviously likes you... Maybe he's just shy and doesn't like being around new people. Only thing you can do is just be straight with him.

He'll usually say "maybe" or "I think I'm gonna chill by myself tonight"
