Absolutley not! I have met many a hot shy guy. If they are shy I found it tends to indicate that they're nice and considerate and usually boyfriend material. My only concern is that it's hard to gauge their actions because they are shy; that can be annoying.

I'm a shy girl and many times I hold back, but for me it's not a turn off because if I like a guy; I can deal with the whole package.

It is a turn off because it seems like you guys then don't like us because you are unwilling to talk. so it is pretty much like talking to dead air and the guys are suppose to be the ones that make everything work but if you are really shy then you obviously can't do that and it is really awkward for the girl to try and make everything work.

But if the girl really likes you than she will keep on trying to talk to you and loosen you up.
