Any confident guys attracted to shy girls?

I'm a shy girl with a slightly low self-esteem, but find myself attracted to confident, out-going guys. Do you think I'm wasting my time going after guys like this as they would prefer girls who match their confidence levels?

(Don't get me wrong, I'm still able to hold conversations, eye contact and smile/laugh lots, but I'm just generally a lot quieter than most people, especially when with new people or in a group. However, when I get to know someone and feel comfortable with them, I'm much more open.)

No. Guys can find shyness cute. They find it frustrating when it prevents the girl from interacting with them or being wild in bed.

All girls like confident guys, for the most part. So you're not 'excluded' because you're shy, but you're after the same guys as everyone else.

Whether you are shy or confident won't determine whether you get them, whether you are hot and fun and nice to hang out with will.

The funny thing is, I'm a shy guy and I'm attracted to shy girls.

What I've always thought is that a shy person would be better able to understand me and relate to me than someone who isn't.

I figure I just won't share a lot in common with that person, if they are very out-going.

Do you think you are attracted to guys like that because you think it will boost your self-esteem? Shy people can have positive self esteem too, I hope you realize. And out-going people can have low self-esteem even if it isn't obvious.

Yeah I realize that. I don't think I'm attracted to them in the hope it'll boost my self-esteem, I think I literally just find their self-confidence and out-going personality attractive.

Fair enough, I guess. To answer your original question, I don't think most naturally outgoing guys will care or even notice if you are shy or not. It neither helps or hurts you with them.

I realize that I'm not the best person to speak for them since I don't identify with this personality, but my experience is that often out-going people tend to be less perceptive of things like shyness. That of course is referring to "naturally out-going". Keep in mind, that most people try to fake it.

Some do like you bring out their softer side. It's hard to keep their interest though since they might think you're quiet and boring

I'm a pretty damned outgoing guy and don't have many insecurities. I've dealt with all of that nonsense.

I'm attracted to girls who are slightly shy but who can be confident about it and own it. A girl who isn't afraid to say, "Yes, I am not totally at ease in social situations and I get nervous around new people and that's just me."

Yeah, coming across a shy girl never stops the attraction, and it can at times enhance your attraction for them because shy girls are often really cute with it,x
