When I wear rings I can't stop messing with them so it gets annoying to me. The second reason is when I lift stuff it pinches my fingers too often, especially when lifting weights. The third reason is it bugs me to wear rings when playing video games.
When I'm working with certain tools, electricity, or ropes I will not wear mine. All it takes is seeing one photo of someone who's been degloved due to a ring getting caught or severe electrical burns from a ring and you'd understand why.
My father actually never wore his. Mainly because of his job. He is into electrics and stuff and gold is a conductor so he would most probably end up with a burnt finger lol
I tried wearing a purity ring when I was single on my wedding hand and took it off within hours cause it was affecting my blood circulation in a negative way.
If you decide to wear a ring again, go to a jeweler and have them size the finger you will wear it on. Then purchase the ring or have it resized by the jeweler.
If he's an electrician he can't wear metal jewelry! Gold and platinum are used as major conductors for energy and electronics. He'd probably get electrocuted if he works while wearing his ring.
My father doesn't wear his ring, it no longer is comfortable because his fingers have just gotten fatter with age, he had to break it off his finger with pliers. He also is a welder so every now and then he would get hot slag caught between his finger and ring so that doesn't help either.
I personally avoid wearing jewelry, tattooing, dying hair, earrings, studs and all kind of that stuff. So I don't like rings too. Maybe, after I marry, that may change, or that may not change. Its up to me, to decide.
Plus, if you are trust your wife, then you don't need a ring, to show that you trust her. Ring is only a part of the culture that evolved. You can completely avoid it if you want. No one is gonna argue with you.
Ring is a social certificate, to show to others that you are married. Its solely at the person's own decision, whether to wear it or not to wear it. Just because others are wearing it, doesn't mean, you need to. But I would say, if you are married, better wear it, to avoid any future troubles from other people, like saying nonsense about your marital status, you can raise your ring and shut their mouth easily.
As a wedding ring is considered as a formal ornament in corporate environment (the most formal environment considering appearances) There are only 2 possibilities for not wearing a wedding ring- 1. He is cheating or trying to cheat or temporarily he is in a fight with his wife
2. He has some sweating issues or allergies for particular metals or some sort of physical problem
My grandfather didn’t wear a ring just because he didn’t like wearing jewellery. Also a lot of guys who work in trades professions have to operate heavy machinery which a ring could get caught in, so they don’t wear one.

My husband won’t wear his because he says he doesn’t like wearing rings. I’m not too happy about it, but what can I do?

It wasn't the right size then.
@musicbrain5 Maybe. I don't know too much about rings but what you said is useful.

@musicbrain5 okay, I will remember that, thanks.
You're welcome!

I've known men who worked with high voltage electricity and couldn't wear them, one had his tattooed on because of this.
Sometimes job requires no jewelry. Especially in industrial settings. People have lost digits and worse from jewelry getting caught in machines.
I work with sensitive electronic boards that can be severely damaged if I wear a ring.
Believe it or not, a lot of men don't wear wedding rings. My father has been married to my mother since he was 19 and still doesn't wear one.
My grandfather didn’t wear a ring just because he didn’t like wearing jewellery. Also a lot of guys who work in trades professions have to operate heavy machinery which a ring could get caught in, so they don’t wear one.
I don’t wear mine and my husband doesn’t wear his either. I don’t wear mine because it’s too hot in the summer. My husbands work would damage his.
Pretty much every major study ever done on the issue has concluded that 20% of the guys fuck 80% of the women.
So you do the math.
Most likely for their jobs they have to take it off.
I work daily with tools that not only interfere with rings, but over time they get chewed up.
I am not married or nothing but from what I heard it can be dangerous with certain things you do or jobs so that can be a reason
I didn't wear mine.
1. Had to take it off for work, and didn't want to lose it
2. Women are more prone to flirt if you're married
