- Guy is way too comfortable with you
-Treats you like a pal
-Never stares at you or checks you out
-Checks out other girls when he is with you. He literally kept staring at this girl the whole time while talking to me. I found that a bit rude. It was like he was transfixed.
-Doesn't treat you any differently than the rest of his female friends

Well, personally I wouldn't play the blame game "Well, he didn't show any romantic interest in me from day one". Very rarely do people have romantic interest for someone since the first day. If you played your cards right, there could be a chance that you really made sparks fly, you know? Just because someone doesn't love you the first day doesn't mean anything. Did you try to show him you liked him at all/ do you have romantic interest for him? If you don't then it really doesn't matter, but that's my assumption. If he's only looking at one girl while talking to you this whole time, I can almost guarantee he has a thing for her. I know that guys rarely ever treat the girl they have romantic interest for "Like a pal". Even when you're friends and he has romantic interest for you, he will hint at it somewhat, unless he's shy. Guys will show it if they like you one way or another regardless of shyness. If he treats you like the rest of the pack. I'd say there is low chances of you turning that around. I wouldn't try to deal with it unless you really really really like him. There will be other people you can focus on too :) Some people are just meant to be friends, you know? Like if you don't have sexual, emotional or mental chemistry (ESPECIALLY SEXUAL) then it's really difficult to create that. Hope that helps!

I wasted over a year chasing a girl that friend zoned me. She led me and one other to believe she was interested, in fact she used text me while dating another guy in the office, I only found out recently. I was also told she has a boyfriend. I cooled off her the last 2 years, we keep in contact. She now wants to start meeting up again which I did but I was careful to keep my emotions in check.
Some people like the attention someone like us can bring. I think if I was you I would stay friends with this person but keep a distance.

No. If you've been "friend zoned" it's because you choose to hang around after being rejected, in hopes of winning him over.

If he doesn't know that you like him, he won't let on if he likes you.

Make a move. Tell him how you feel. And if he rejects you, then walk away.

Unfortunately I would say so. When I like a girl I tend to be a little shy but I make eye contact with her more than I typically would with some one else and I would make more effort to talk with her. I also would try to text her more often and ask how she's doing. Unfortunately almost every girl has given me the same signs you stated above and pretty much made it obvious they weren't interested in me at all
