By the information you have given if difficult to say. But let's break it down.

1. he is in the same chat with you that means he must not have any problems with you otherwise he would of have left already.
2. him randomly posting pictures has nothing to do, he could post at any time he wants and only you out of everyone would think it was for you that post.
3. he runs away when you are online, well has things happen often? Perhaps you get on at the right time he has to get off. Maybe he is too shy and has the biolove shyness syndrome (yup I made that up 😁) that is when some guy or girl likes you. It is so shy so instead of approaching you and looking open for conversation does the opposite and closes itself or gives sing he or shy doesn't want to talk to you. Perhaps he is doing that.

Is he trying to catch your attention? Yes, because if he wanted it or not he got your attention already otherwise you wouldn't be here. As if he wants something with you, you will have to find out by sending him a pm.
