Is he trying to get my attention?

Okay this may sound totally weird but I feel like my ex is trying to get my attention online. I know after a breakup you're not supposed to "cyber stalk" but everyone does it or has done it and depending on the situation it may be hard to stop. Anyway when we were together we used to tweet all the time now he barely uses his account if anything he uses instagram. However, I always questioned why he would post some instagram pics on his twitter and not others when none of his friends follow him on that account as they do IG. Also he doesn't interact with anyone on twitter either. (psycho I know)

Last night he posted a movie trailer saying I want to see this when it comes out, his first vine and a YouTube vid of himself. He has a Facebook (I don't) so who is really going to look at this feed (That he knows). This is probably a stretch but I kinda feel he's hoping I notice. I know girls do it all the time.

We haven't talked much in weeks but when we have it's him randomly texting me thanking me for all the things I ever did for him.

I don't think it's what you're trying to make it out to be... I'm on Twitter for example too and only one of my friends are on there but that doesn't stop me from posting away and retweeting things. I think you're reading too much into this and the more you're telling this to yourself, the harder you are making this for yourself to move on. You're clinging onto any hope you can find which is telling me you're not healed yet. You need space and you have to stop cyber stalking him at some point otherwise you'll never move on. If he wants you back he'll contact you. Till then, it's not worth creating false hope.

i do upload pics into social media like Facebook as a storage for me to keep the pictures

When it comes to pictures, it might just be a place for him to upload images that he wants to be able to link to and show people in conversations. A lot of people use online drives and social sites just to store stuff for internet use. Instagram would be a perfect example of that...
