The original premise of having a good detox if you're watching too much porn and masturbating to it as a substitute for sex and relationships is a good one, but the community is just pseudo-scientific bullshit and people trying to scare impressionable young men. Masturbation is normal and shouldn't be stigmatised, whether you're in a relationship or single, male or female, whatever, and NoFap by and large does this, whether that was its original intention or not.
