She doesn't talk to me much around friends?

Theres this girl whos a good friend of mine.. I like her a lot.. when we're alone she talks to me normally tells me about her day asks abt mine and all dat.. she's told me all about her family and her friends and hows she feels about the things in her life.. we message each other frequently too.. but when we're with our other friends she doesn't talk to me as much as she talks to them.. only responds if I tell her something.. and also, when she's talking to me ( even when we're alone ) she never uses my name to address me or call or whatever.. and sometimes she mentions this guy whom she really likes but just as a friend.. I'm so frickin confused.. I know I could just ask her directly but I'm worried that might screw up our friendship.. pls help

She may not talk to you much around her friends because she likes to talk to you about things she can't or won't talk to her friends about. I think you should just ask her out see what she says it sounds like she likes you a lot.

She's probably more comfortable with you compared to a big group. Don't think anything of it. Her behavior hasn't indicated otherwise.
