GUYS: Would you text a girl you didn't like until 3 am?

I like this guy who texts me 24/7 until early hours of the morning he constantly flirts with me and sometimes its sexual, but sometimes he asks me about my feelings too, he seems genuinely interested in how I feel about him. I don't like to play games so I admitted that I like him he says he thinks I'm "so cute" but when I ask what we are he says "just friends". He was talking dirty to me the other night and I shut him down,I didn't want it to get awkward.. after that he said " It's okay I don't really date anyways" did I bruise his ego, causing him to try and get back at me? Then on new years he told me he hooked up with a few chicks.. I think he was trying to make me jealous? why else would he randomly state that? Why would he text me so much and flirt with me if he didn't have feelings for me? Could he be lying? Or does he just want to hook up with me? What do you guys think?

Sounds to me he is attract to you and enjoy talking to you a lot. Plus I think you're not the only girl that he is talking to right now either. When you tell a guy you like him and he should have a courage to ask you out now right away and no but either. He sounds like a big flirt to me. A lot of guys if he really like the girl he wouldn't answer your confession of feeling like that.

Yeah, I honestly think that I'm the only girl he talks too, because I never see girls talking to him on FB or anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was flirting with other girls, the reason I think he isn't though is because he gets very flattered when I say something nice to him. I think I help boost his ego a lot, which makes me think that not many girls are flirting with him?

Aww so he is one of low self-esteem guy huh. You have to be careful around him and yes you need to play game with him. I'm talking from experienced a lot of those guys will stick with you until they have enough confidence about themselves and they will took off like a bird in the sky. They will come back to you again when they are wounded. I don't want to assume he is using but I just want you be careful with him and enjoy the flirting. Just let him do all the asking first. I've known him for 4 years through my best friend, but we just started talking frequently in October, he's not like a best friend or anything but I am very close with his family!

Maybe he's afraid of failing. He would feel embarased if you would reject him, so he tries to keep some distance (because it's safer for him and his feelings) even if ,deep down, he doesn't really want to do this. It's something like my situation. The only way to find out the answer is to ask him out, or try to kiss him when you find the moment - after that you will read him like an open book,

So a theory of mine is right. If you reject a guy, his first intention is to avoid you for a while in order not to feel embarased. So he will be "forced" to see you again, and he would feel awkward. He definitely thinks this way. He's afraid of you saying NO
