Girls and guys: Should I get an anime tattoo?

I'm kinda into the anime/gaming series called "Touhou" and one of my favorite characters is Sakuya Izayoi.

I was thinking of getting this tattooed to from my shoulder and downward(not all the way down, just as far as it'll go, maybe the most is like 1-2 inches above my elbow?)

Would this be a good idea... like would girls and guys make fun of me? or would they not care? would I miss out on dating opportunities?

i understand getting a tattoo is a big responsibility, so I'd like to get opinions before I do anything

Well, I do like the design, so there is that at least. But yes, I think some girls would not like it as I think women enjoy tattoos as a sign of masculinity, and an anime girl in a French maid suit is more of a teenage thing than an adult male thing. I think you could end up regretting it years from now... but then if I had more guts, maybe I'd tattoo something from The Twelve Kingdoms on my body haha

If you want to, just do it. It is your body. But, personally, I think tattoos are stupid and they're going to look worse and worse as you get older.

If you want it then get it. Its YOUR body and no one elses so don't worry about what people may say or think because as long as you like it then that's all that matters. Just make sure you get something that you can look at 10 years from now and still see the meaning of it.
