My parents are absolutely against it, they told me that they had to raise a girl and not a sheet of paper. They think I should stay presentable and respectable.
I just want your opinion
My opinion is, once you're an adult you're going to bare the weight of your own decisions.
I respect my parents and I always considered their advice. However I didn't always agree with it. Sometimes I was still wrong. Like both of my ex-wives. "But mom, I'm in love..." I was such a fool.
Now I have 11 tattoos. I took my time deciding about what I was going to mark my body for life with. I feel like tattoos are like jewelry. Like art and the body is the canvas.
You'll have it for the rest of your life. Make sure it's meaningful. Make sure the artist is awesome.
And knows how to spell.
Okay, you're not going to like this, but my answer to this question:
Does anyone else find tattoos to be disgusting?
implies my answer to your question.
It's pretty but it's too big for me if I wanted one and I don't do tattoo's.
And this one.

If you want my honest opinion I will tell I think you shouldn’t.
I would implore you to reconsider.
I don’t think it looks good and I don’t think it’s healthy to have inc imbedded in your skin.
If you do over time it would start to look faded and misshapen.
Honestly to me personally there is nothing more disappointing then seeing a tattoo on an attractive girl, I’m am not the only one who feels this way.
Maybe instead of having something put on your skin you could have a drawn or painted on a piece of paper or a Canvas so you can hang it on a wall.
I think that's a good location, esp. for the first one. Then others can comment/see but being on your back you're not always looking at it.
I got mine on my upper arms and it still to this day drives me a little crazy to constantly have Playboy bunnies in my peripheral vision all the time.
As for you any tattoo you want you can get & as for the butterfly tattoo show it to your tattoo artist & I’m sure they can do that easily or design one just like it. Like the butterfly & I think you should get it because it stands out however have your artist work on the flowers & maybe change them to rose’s or another flower that stands out as well.
I'd get rid of the lower part bellow the butterfly down to the main petal and leaf's and then consider making the black ink parts a little darker. Cause if you live a life in the sun at all or wear revealing dresses like the one in the image good chance it will fade. And it sucks to keep having to reinject the ink.
Plus if you ever have surgery related to lymph nodes definitely decline looking at them just a fair warning.
I think tattoos look trashy on anyone. And what you think looks really cool now will turn into regrets later in your life.
I don't really like tattoos so I guess I won't give my opinion. I do like bare skin. I do like the unhindered outline of a woman's back.
But not going to give an opinion. Everyone has one. I guess if yours is the most important to you then the choice is yours. If you are married or have a significant other or someone who's opinion you highly value over yours then ask them.
But I humbly admit my opinion is of no greater value than anyone else's and defiantly not yours.
Papillon!
You'll be framed for murder and sent to the penal colony in French Guiana!
Aren't you of the age where you don't need consent or approval of your patents?
I think that butterfly looks beautiful.
If you want to yeah. No matter who raised you, it's still your body. You can always wear something that covers it if you have to be "presentable" somewhere.
it is a nice looking tattoo. If you get this you should do so with the intention that this will be the only one you will get. It will be just enough to be nice looking and not overdone.
You are 24. Do what you want. Your parents will get over it.
Depending on your age, if you are or aren't living at home.
If you are living out on your own then go for it, if not then wait until you move out.
I'm a fan of tattoos and have two myself. One on my right shoulder, another on my left sleeve. I believe you can find something much better and on a better spot. I don't like this one.
One other butterfly among millions of butterflies?
Boring :)
No. Do not get that tattoo. Blue butterfly tattoos are a calling card for Russian working girls.
Its beautiful but just to draw it on paper not on your skin
i think its a neat tattoo , is tons of different designs out there which feature butterflies though
It’s very pretty, but I’m personally not into tattoos.
We would have to see you to make that determination. Lol but it’s a pretty tattoo
Tattoos are very personal decisions. You have to make that for yourself.
You should avoid tattoos because human looks more beautiful without tattoos. Its my opinion rest upto you.
