Do guys actually think nerds are hot or not?

So I just moved to an all girls high school but before that it was mixed schools. I always was super sweet, nice and a good laugh. I was also a total nerd. I loved to read tons of books, was engaged in class and was crazy smart. I also liked manga and anime though I didn't really talk about it a lot. Now for the appearance. I have glowed up a lot in the past year but I was scrawny with a flat chest, no butt, a toothy grin and messy hair in a low ponytail. My friends were all c cup, straight flowing hair and most importantly not nerdy. They talked about the latest gossip on snapchat and twitter and always seemed in a different world. Now here comes the guy part. I always had interesting conversation in comparison to the other girls drivel but for some reason, the guys always dated them. It was hard on me as I didn't get why as they always talked about how they wanted a girl who was sweet and smart. now I have seriously glowed up but as I'm at an all girls school I haven't had the chance to test it out. So what do you think? Was it because I was too nerdy or was it simply my nonexistent boobs? Also what do you think about nerdy chicks?

I am a nerd so I will love to have someone like myself.
It's just I hate some girls who do makeup and trying that they are to hot and are some kind of a guy magnet and they turn down every guy who approaches.
If a girl likes anime and manga, she can get any nerd guy.

I actually disagree. I'm a person who is yes socially awkaward in some ways but i always tried to get to know people. The problem is when you start sharing your opinions on things like the newest book you've read or ask people what they thought about what was on the news or something they kinda shut down

I think it's awesome.

But with my experience the nerdy girls I've dated are just like any other girl. And we didn't click.

Like there was this really good looking girl that loved anime so I thought for sure we would get along.

Turns out she wasn't really into me and she made that quite clear on FB lol.

Guys with nerdy interests like girls with nerdy interests.
Not many guys consider being obsessed with gossip and Instagram a plus.
looks matter a lot.
I suspect the lack of grooming did more than breast size. Skinny is pretty good. But bad grooming both looks bad, suggests you’re not interested in guys in a physical way, and says don’t approach me.

The guys that want a nerd a girl are in the minority but they are very sincere about it. So you are going to have a smaller but more commited dating pool.

I honestly couldn't see myself having an LTR with a girl who wasn't a nerd.

Nerds like other nerds. When TV shows say guys like nerds (I mean non nerdy guys liking nerds) they basically mean they like girls that aren't dumb as dirt and wear glasses
