I messaged a guy after our date that I had put on some very nice underwear for that night in case we went back to his place and he gave it a thumbs up, more than 12 hours after it was sent.

It made me feel a little weird, so I texted him back asking, “ok, just out of curiosity was that too much or did I just leave you a little speechless?”


He said back, “Speechless.”

I need to know. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I ended up texting him last night while a little tipsy about thinking I was going the wrong way with a picture of a different train line than I typically take which is an inside joke because I’m directionally challenged but he hasn’t said anything back. He’s visiting his mom for mother’s day today so I don’t want to bug him, but I was thinking of sending him a text saying, “update: I successfully made it back home last night. Hope you’re having a nice time with your mom today :)”
