A girl pointed at me while talking to one of her friends. What exactly should I do? Please help me out

OK, so today I was in one of my classes when a girl pointed at me while talking to one of her friends. I asked why I was pointed at, and after a minute or so I overheard her say "should we tell him" and then she looked over at me and told me that one of their friends "has the hots for you". I don't know really what to do because I've never been in a situation like this before. I believe she was about to tell me today so should I wait for her to say something herself or what? any help here would be much appreciated.

Clearly she's a little shy in telling you herself or not sure how to break the ice with you. If you are interested in her smile, say hello, make a joke, anything that breaks the ice and invites a conversation. Then wait for her move. BUT if you are not interested, don't do anything. Let it die. Its better to let things fade away in the beginning then create false hopes.

Her friend made the first move for her, now its your turn.

Girls are often shy about making the first move either because they aren't sure if you like them too or some feel like it's the guys responsibility to do so. But getting into a conversation is a must and then maybe casually asking her out to starbucks is always a nice but not to intense way to start (If you really like her).

If you see that she is timid... break the ice a little bit... Say hi, smile at her, make yourself more approachable for her to get the guts to talk to you about the situation.
