I'm 5'6" so I'm used to everyone being taller. My size used to get me picked on but my confidence made up for it.
So if I see someone taller and bigger than me who happens to be younger, I'm indifferent and think "good on them" as long as they dont attempt to start shit with me lol.
I'm short, it's not hard to be taller than me. Lol.
I wonder about how the parents look 😂😂. I’m 5’5 and my height has never really made a significant impact on my life. I’ve dated both tall and short girls. Guys are the only ones who say something about my height. Haters gonna hate.
Anyway I wonder what the parents look like so it can help me choose a wife. I will most likely choose a taller woman to marry just so my boys have a chance at being taller than me. If they aren’t I’d just teach them to be as cool and confident as their old man. I just want to give them the best generic advantages possible.
So at what age did you stop growing height wise?
To stop at 5’5 puberty ended before early twenties
I would be impressed more than anything. I am 5'10" so very few people are taller than me. The average height of a fully grown man in the United States is 5'6"-5'9". Also, my height is not a source of insecurity because I know I can fight and take down the average person, no matter their height. I think the guys who feel negative because another guy, of any age, is taller feel threatened because, biologically, a bigger size is a more imposing and threatening presence.
A lot of guys are taller than 5’10
I am 5’8”-5’9” and I am around 160 ish pounds. Have been in the 150-175 weight class since middle school.
While I would like to be a bit more ripped muscle wise. I am more or less happy with my body.
So I do not really feel bad when I see other guys who are taller or more built them me.
Truly guys who are really tall end up with leg and knee issues later in life. If they do not maintain there bodies.
Lmao, once in a while I’ll see that Alabama or something is already pre-committing junior high kids, and they’ll be like 6’6, 260. I guess I just wonder when the exact day was that it changed over and this literal child would have been able to overtake me in a physical confrontation, and how old was he? The idea of legitimately getting your ass kicked by an 11 year old, albeit a full grown one... that just doesn’t sit well with a guy😂
I'm 6'4", so thatdoesn't typically happen to me, and I was usually among the tallest, when I was younger.
That's not to say there aren't guys taller than me; it's just not super common. Whenever I do see someone taller than me, I just empathize with him. I already have atough time finding shirts, and fitting comfortably in cars, so I know they've got it worse.
It's not always something which works in their favor, being really tall at a young age, but I'm never too bothered by it. I might wonder what on earth they've been eating to have such growth spurts, because I've seen 14 year olds who's 6'2, but there's no reason to feel insecure or bitter. I have a good height myself, about 5'11-6 feet.
I'm 6"3 and if I'm being honest, I do feel weird when I see someone taller than me, especially someone younger... but it doesn't bother me in the slightest but I do notice it
Even tho I'm really tall, I still see some younger people who are taller than me. I first think to myself "damn, imagine how tall this guy is going to be when he finishes growing" or "why wasn't I tall as he when I was his age?" But, it's a known fact that "new" kids are expecting to grow taller and taller than us millenials and olders so I am not surprised when I see one.
But when I think that to myself, I'm just like "well, good for him, even better genes that mine" and just don't care anymore.
I’m 6’2 and 16 years old so not many people are taller than me but when I do see someone taller I don’t know why I just get annoyed I have no reason to be, they don’t have to be younger or whatever. Any age as soon as they’re taller it makes me feel kinda angry maybe it’s just related to cavemen days because let’s face it when a really tall person get in your face it’s pretty scary
People come in all shapes and sizes, we aren't robots who are going to look all alike. It is what it is. It's not emasculating if I see a 15 year old boy taller than me, he probably comes from a family who has tall parents, no big deal. If God gives someone the ability to walk, talk, think with a coherent mind, hear, see, have nice skin and etc then be grateful. Because there are people who don't have those things and would kill to have those physical traits.
I actually tend to feel positive, like respect and admiration and sometimes sheer awe. Sometimes I ask them what they eat or jokingly arm wrestle them, almost certain I'd lose. I find big guys tend to be quite friendly in my general experience.
I tend to associate positive feelings to them I think in part because of the friendliness as well. Maybe I was just lucky but almost every huge guy I met was like a teddy bear. I think it's because they're so huge that they don't have to fear anybody, so they tend to be very thick-skinned, patient, kind, and my inquisitive nature and joking with them often makes it easy for us to become buddies. So I tend to kind of get excited when I see a big guy entering a room.
Like chico_brah formerly on here. He could probably crush my head like a watermelon with his bare hands if he wanted, but I don't have to worry about that since he's so good-natured with a wicked sense of humor and so easy to get along with. And that's generally been my experience with big guys.
I don't care. We all can't be all things. Some guys are taller than me, some of them younger. My voice is deeper, I'm stronger, my hands are bigger. Be happy with what you have.
Well lots of guys are stronger than you and have bigger hands than you too.
Some guys' egos may become deflated (and may [depending on how familiar they may be/how well that they know the bigger younger guys in question]) and they might begin making so-called "hatin' "/low-key snide remarks about the younger guys (particularly to other women).
I've always wondered this about this and just feel awkward near other adult men sometimes since I'm taller than most.
How tall are you?
6'2 and a half
I start believing were adding too much growth hormone into our food. But humans have naturally gotten bigger each generation for a long time, ever since our diets improved through farming.
I’m 6’1 myself so I’m taller then most where I’m at but when I see I guy bigger then me I self acknowledge he is the alpha and I treat him with respect
Doeant bother me. I'm near 6"7 in shoes and i know a guy who's 23 and he's 7"4. I feel like the bagel guy" compared to him
Yeah if 2 chains is really 6"5 that kids gott be at least 6"10
I'm only a few inches taller than the bagel freakout guy
It was funny how pissed of he got and he acted like people were scared of his shrimp ass
ikr, I was laughing so hard
You say you're 5'8"? The bagel guy is 5 feet. You're several inches taller than him. LOL
I used to be [offended], like I was not good enough... I'm over that. (I'm eldest of five, and the THIRD shortest. I'm used to it)
I feel weird. When I see 18 year olds way bigger than me both muscular wise and height wise it confuses me a bit.
I'm over 6 foot, they usually laugh it off though because I'm a stick. Good question!
Nothing. My younger cousin is taller than me and we just have banter and s laugh about it. No big deal.
What’s the point of laughing about it? How much taller is he?
Called a sense of humour gorl.
No, don’t see how a younger guy being taller than you is funny
Bet you're fun at parties 🙄😂
It happens very infrequently so when it does happen I notice.
It makes me feel a little uncomfortable but that's the same with anyone taller than me regardless of age.
Our height is something over which we have very little control so why care or worry about someone else's?
Lots of guys do you reject
I have a bad habit of felling jealous that I'm still working on. My nephew is 5 years younger than me and is already an inch taller than me.
Short guys have a complex about it. Tall guys dont really notice much except to maybe think gee that kids tall.
I'm 6'2, so I've never really been Self-Conscious of my height. I only paid attention when it was obvious the person I recall had some Growth Hormone Issues.
My younger brother is taller than me. I guess it's due to his body type. It doesn't bother me at all because i know age isn't directly related to height.
For some stupid reason I put my gaurd up around these guys, mostly just watching where they step to make sure they don't step over any lines, unless I'm sure I can't take them in that case I run before any line crossing happens.
I'm actually used to everyone being bigger than me with the whole obesity epidemic going on.
I think it's great, it gives us a chance against the killer robots.
