Why do guys not like red heads?

I heard most guys don't like red head girls, and I want to dye my hair red. Do you like red heads? And if yes then maybe give some insight as to why other guys might not like red heads.

I really would be dyeing my hair for myself, I'm not doing it to get a boyfriend or anything. Just when I was thinking about it I remembered hearing the thing about gingers.

I saw this episode of Manswers that said that red heads are the most fun/best in bed. XD Show a bunch of guys that episode and you're set for life.

(And by the way, I had red hair for about a year, and didn't have trouble getting a boyfriend. I went through a couple actually. I think that it's just a guy's personal preference. Some guys prefer blondes, some prefer brunettes, some prefer red heads, and some don't give a sh*t. Just like some like hard liquor, some like beer and some are too scared of getting alcohol poisoning to drink. =] )

Hmmm...i don't think that's true at all.I think it all boils down to preference.Some folks don't seem to like blondes,or brunettes or whatever.But I don't think it's that big of a deal whereas you should be questioning dying your hair.YOU want to dye it for yourself,and not anyone else right?Then who cares what anyone else thinks.Seriously.I think that appeal is so much more than a box of hair color.

I don't really see this fixation people have with hair colour, especially the negative thing with red heads/gingers.

Red can be an amazing hair colour and for some reason always looks shiny and health. Especially when quite long, below shoulders and with a nice natural wave.

Go for it, its only dye afterall and you can go back any time you like. PS you have a nice pretty face so if hair colour is an issue for someone over that and your personality, unlucky them.

I actually am totally into REAL redheads and I never understood the people who aren't. Paleness and freckles... They're so attractive.. Yet, I guess people really don't understand the value of anything. No wonder we can't have nice things.

@ThatWeirdGinger101 Hmph, they're liars. To be honest, only male redheads get a bad rep, even then, when a girl actually likes them it doesn't matter. I don't think you should dye it, I think you should embrace it, A lot of guys love the uniqueness of the natural red hair.

I have always thought that girls with red hair are really cute, I don't know why any guys would not be attracted to them, I guess they are the ones who are attracted to the bleach blond types. I wouldn't let some dumb guys stop you from dyeing your hair, if you want do dye it red then you should go for it.

idk but some guys are really in to red heads, Sunday I was at the library working with this guys, red head walks and wouldn't stop talking how red heads are hot lol so I don't know I think if you are pretty and hot, hair color doesn't matter. you just have to be able to pull it off, that it compliments you.

Most guys aren't swayed by simply hair colour, in fact it is strange if they are. Physical attraction normally has a lot more to do with the face rather than hair colour, but a lot of guys might prefer long hair for example.

Being a 'red head' myself I would say that my hair has always been an asset to me as people are always complimenting me on it (girls and guys) and I like to think I stand out from the crowd quite a lot

Frankly most people find redheads more attractive then any other both physically and emotionally (personality exct).

Many people seem to act like a**h**es around redheads due to it being unique and people who do that are all show offs and want to be the centre of attention.

Dying your hair vs. being a red head is different. Any guy that goes out of his way to say that he's not into redheads probably means like the red hed, pale skin, freckly type. and some guys are into that.

and some guys might like your dyed red hair and some might not. and some of them might just like you.

Well in truth it is the preference of the guy but personally I like red heads I think it is beautiful. I think guys don't necessarly like red head because they think their are stuck up B*&^%$. Hope this helps.
