Why would a guy shout your name when he says it?

For example, I’m still in school, and he volunteered to take attendance one day. He went through the names all at the same volume. However, when he got my name, he shouted *very loudly* “____!!” Then, returned to the same volume when saying the rest of the names. He’s done this several times. We’re not friends or anything, so I don’t know why he does this and was wondering as it’s kind of a weird behavior.

I literally have no idea. He might like you, but this seems like an odd way to go about it. Maybe he just wants to know you. Try to get to no him better and then maybe you will understand. In the mean time here are two whales that want to be your friend.
