Why does this guy keep shouting my name?

He keeps saying my name in short form or my nickname. We talked a year ago but lately he’s been trying to get my attention because I ignore him

Well if someone ignores me intentionally over a long period of time I stop talking to them. Obviously I’m not even worth the time of day to them so why should I go out of my way to talk to them.

I assume that maybe he just doesn't get it, maybe he is into you, or maybe that’s just the way he is. If he’s bothering you tell him. You don’t have to be a bitch about it unless he keeps on after being direct. But sometimes you have to be direct with people. Some people aren’t good with reading social cues even the big ones like flat out ignoring someone.

Which don’t just ignore people. Just be honest tell them you can’t talk right now. But sometimes if they just don’t stop you just have to ignore people. I don’t take pleasure in it but some people don’t have very good boundaries or common sense.
