I"m in a similar situation, however in my case, the girl NEVER says my name (I've known her for over a year). She will talk to others and say their names, a lot, like every other sentence or when she greets them she will always use names and things like that. When she says my name is so rare that it really stands out for me. In all fairness, I like her name a lot but I tend not to say it because, I don't know, I feel like it distances myself from her, I have a pet name from her so I use that and she likes it but she has also told me that when I use her name it sounds weird because I never use it lol. Its hard to tell, some people will tell you that using names will bring you closer but others will tell you that when you don't its because you are close already and there's no need for names (kind of like when married couples don't really call each other by their names). One way to know is to see if he uses any other names or just yours, if he is only using your names and not others' then you might be onto something.
I know I do this when I am having trouble remembering a Girls name.

that can be a sign of interest, I think the reasoning behind it is when you say some ones name it is a guarnteed way to get there attention. so basically it draws the persons attention onto you.
He needs to get used to saying it so he doesn't call out another girl's name when he's inside you. Smart guy, thinks ahead.
