Asking a girl the last time she had sex?

This guy that I’m seeing asked me this and it’s the first time any guy has ever asked me this. I’m not offended because he is a little awkward so comes out with things he probably shouldn’t. He is away for the next 2 months so I won’t see him etc. But why do guys feel the need to ask this? Another guy I dated last year asked the same thing.

I typed it into google and people seem to be really offended by the question, I’m not so much just think it’s a bit weird. It’s the second time he kinda asked a question like it last time he asked did I get lots of action when I went to his home town cause I joked I love the accent.

As for sex we both want to have sex with each other just hit me with this question don’t know if he is trying to suss me out.

He's probably just trying to find out if you sleep around. I don't remember ever asking a girl this but it's pretty common conversation to ask how long someone has been single which is pretty much the same type of question. I admit I am interested in a girls dating history because it says a lot about her but I try and be tactful and don't just ask early on.

I neither thing it should be smth to ask regularly, nor thing is smth to be offended over. It's an honest question, not for people that do not even know you, but still not a huge deal. And no, I personally don't really ask or even care, and same with most guys I know.

As you said he prob is awkward and doesn’t realize it’s in insulting or just doesn’t think. It definitely is a way of asking your sexual history. If you two have already talked about sex he knows he will get it so is just trying to figure out regarding your past.

I think its all situational and comes down to how past relationships have played out. One could feel pressured into making a move because the other is more sexually active, or perhaps its a merely a leading question to get you to open about more about your sexually experiences. There are a lot of things to consider, maybe there was a past experience he had which he wouldn't want to experience again. I dont think i helped but thats my opinion
