If my doctor called me beautiful was he just being nice or sincere?

My doctor is very cute. I've been in there a few times for anxiety n stuff and I'm 27. He's 40s.. married with kids and all but I brought my dad to the appointment and he made a point of saying my name and "beautiful, capable young woman" it was so nice and unexpected... The beautiful part esp! (he could have just said capable or nice or smart) it made me feel amazing and I just wonder if he was just being nice or trying to communicate how he felt about me and felt safer saying it with my dad there im not sure but damn I feel on cloud 9 after that haha!

I want to be optimistic but, considering he’s in charge of administering anxiety medicine.. he’s probably just doing it to make you feel better, or to compliment your father on his parenting.

Doctors do that sometimes. They just say it to be nice and encouraging expecially to patients with mental illness. My doctor called me beautiful lady too.
