If you like a girls why do you try and make her jealous?

This guy and I have become awkward with one another. I like him and I think he likes me as he always is around and stares at me. For some reason up close, he can't seem to make eye contact. It started to get awkward being around one another as neither of us will admit feelings. Now, if I'm around, he will get abnormally loud and boisterous and flirt with a girl. The more I try to ignore, the louder he gets. And I glance over and there he is, constantly checking to see if I'm looking. I ignore and continue to do whatever it is I'm working on or talk with others... he gets LOUDER. even super expressive, arms flying about, super outgoing. LOUD. He is normally very quiet and observant! Reserved!! The second I say I'm leaving or REALLY can ignore... it's immediately quiet. I really feel this is intentional to make me jealous and uncomfortable. But why? I'm not doing anything like that!!

I did. I noticed that when I move, ignore or simply go to leave, it IMMEDIATELY stops. Each and every time.

YES!!! like he needs some sort of validation of my feelings. Ughhhh. So stupid. But at least I know how to make him stop. That, is funny. He completely cuts it off. Puts earbuds and turns around and everything and the girl just sits there confused like why did this just abruptly stop? Because it's not about you honey!

Well... that's the thing. Sometimes I think he does. Sometimes I think he doesn't. won't talk to me but looks and glances at me a lot. Will come close byt not speak to me. This jealousy thing is new because we aren't speaking. He knows I dont like it... I'm trying my best to ignore

Completely agree. Quite silly how people tend to revert back to your younger years to act out your attraction to someone. To be honest, iij wished we spoke again. All of this is him acting out.

This is what has caused the silly behavior. We used to talk a lot. Got in a weird argument and haven't spoken. Instead, he either walks by and stares, goes the longest way possible to go to the bathroom as it passes by my desk rather than take the direct path and never see him.

Ha I actually had to quickly submit and close this as he yet again walked by the most odd way to come and walk by. He speaks to people near me and as much as I try to ignore, he is constantly talking and looking st me, especially when making a joke and looking for my reaction. I tried to ignore or move away. So now it's at this awkward stage that we are not speaking. I tried but he clearly isn't ready yet. So... this stupid loud talking, flirting, weird behavior continues.
