Okay, no problem. Let me help with some probing questions so I can give you a better answer. Who is 'he'? Boyfriend? Friend? Gardener? Who was the text conversation with? Coworker? Friend? Relative? Were there existing trust issues? (assuming you are in a relationship)
Let's start with those.

If it wasn't through his phone then how did you know he deleted the conversation? Did he have a reason why he deleted it?

I always found it odd to why he always has to take his phone with him every time he uses the bathroom. Last night I e noticed he's been erasing just their conversations. It just seem too odd to me.

I like the advice of some other members. It needs to be addressed, but don't automatically assume it is cheating. If you are going to accuse him of cheating you should solid evidence, not just a 'feeling'.
