Boyfriend never wants to do anything. Advice?

Hey guys. So my boyfriend and i have been seeing eachother for 3 months. he's a homebody. We've gone out for lunches about 7 times in our relationship and 2 dates. he's well off and generous in the sense that he insists on paying each time. I do handle the uber and sometimes/ most times, the meals we have at his place and such. I dont mind the money aspect of it. Im 21 and he's 25. The only concern i have is that he never wants to do anything. I spend about 3 nights a week at his place or he comes to mine. He does a lot of sports but he never wants to go out. And when i suggest it, its almost like a chore for him so we usually dont end up doing it. Also, i see little things i think he'll like and i get it for him but he's never done the same. he's often forgetful. Like, when i ask him to grab me something from the store. he's an overall good guy. But im getting abit concerned. he's never gotten me flowers or chocolate. And he's never planned dates. I do cute things for him all the time and its starting to feel one sided. I dont want to bring it up cause i know its his nature. What should i do?

Pick a date night that’s scheduled one night every week. And then alternate who makes the plans. If he needs suggestions, do research together and find 100 things to do locally on your city so that he can pick based on how he feels when it’s his week to make the plans.

Also talk about the 5 love languages with him so that he understands what you need to be loved and appreciated. That way he understands how to step up and be a good boyfriend.

You should just tell him, a relationship is built on honesty. If you are bothered by this you should tell him. Maby he doesn't know you want him to be more active or maybe he's shy and doesn't know where to start. By just talking to him about it you should get some clearance on the problem and maby think of some ideas.

I am a home body as well. The best solution is setting date night on a specific night of the week or every other week and planning it out in advance. It takes out the stress of it and let's him prepare.
