I am a guy shy of being shirtless at home in front of my family?

Hi everyone. I'm 18 years old guy and shy of being shirtless in front of my family. I'm not fat, too skinny etc. but I can't take my shirt off and walk around at home because of my mum and dad. Of course it's winter now but in hot days i've never taken off my shirt and slept like this. I even get shy when I watch a movie with my mum and shirtless man appear there especially muscular man. What's my problem and how can I go shirtless?

Would your parents be okay with you being shirtless around them? That could make a difference in your decision. Unfortunately in my family, being shirtless at home isn't acceptable. I’ve wanted to sleep in just my boxer briefs for a long time, and about four years ago, I decided to start doing it—just in my room and when going to the bathroom at night. Surprisingly, I rarely run into family members, even with a large family sharing the same upstairs bathroom.

If you want to sleep shirtless, I’d encourage you to go for it! Your parents probably won’t even notice and it feels amazing to have the sheets against your skin!
