Plus size means overweight, overweight means unhealthy, unhealthy means a whole load of medical conditions. And people want to have kids with someone who's fit and healthy because they want their kids to be fit and healthy too... That's why most people prefer someone who's on the thinner end

Same reason people find anorexic people unattractive. It doesn't look healthy or normal. Most people prefer normal and healthiness.

Because it's unhealthy and it's part of nature to select the healthiest and fittest partner to breed with.
