Why do guys push girls into pools?

I’ve noticed this with guys since taking up water sports. Whether training in the pool or paddling on a slow river, they just can’t seem to resist either tipping/pushing me in or picking me up and jumping in with me?

It's their way of being playful with you, but in the more childish sense. It's our way of getting to know you, get close to you, like we would have done as kids, starting off playing games and what not to get close.

It's just fun, and typically you don't have to worry about hurting them. Most if not all guys I know do that to each other too, but girls often weigh less and/or are easier, not always, but often.
