I am a freshman he is a sophomore and he's my friend's brother and I like him and my friend told him I liked him but he said I wasn't his type and he doesn't like me back.

You can never make anyone like you. They just do or they don't. You are only 15. Be patient and eventually a guy who you like will also like you. I mean flip this around... what if a guy likes you and you weren't interested in him at all? He might be thinking about how to impress you but you know nothing they do will change that when you just aren't attracted/interested in someone.
