im shy myself...terribly shy in fact. I would like to answer your question but I don't exactly know your situation...soo ill just say in general if she's not interested she would probably just nod and give you one worded answers while you try to make convo. of course smiling and whatnot to not seem rude...though in general, since I know how it is to be shy, don't be put off if she doesn't make eye contact or doesn't talk much. I'm sure she has a lot to say but just isn't exactly comfortable enough to say it or possibly can't decide what to say. if your finding it hard to keep a good convo going then honestly just keep it natural and DO NOT try too hard. obviously its not very attractive...though I guess some say its cute. anywhoo... let her know somehow that she can be herself around you. try to bring her out of her shell though don't push it too much. it make take time but if you really like her then I say keep trying.

If a shy girl doesn't like you, she'll sort of pretend you don't exist; she won't really pay attention to you. She's already shy enough so she won't worry about befriending someone she isn't interested in, I don't know if you understand what I mean. Also, if you talk to her and she doesn't put much effort into the conversation, that might be a sign too.

Is she's interested, she'll do whatever she can so that you notice she's paying attention to you.

Does she at least try to talk to you if you start a conversation? Does she laugh if you kid around with her? Will she look you in the eyes when you talk to her? Does she answer the phone when you call, or call you right back?

If she is interested she will do all of the above. If she is polite but won't make ANY effort to continue the conversation, then she probably isn't into you.

not neccessarily.. Shy girls may still not make much of an effort yo continue conversations.. We usually have trouble thinking of things to say.. If she's not making much of an effort, it could be just because she's not sure how to..

Ok I'm a shy girl myself and you can't really tell if she doesn't like you or if she does because everyone is different. When i liked someone i always ran away when i saw them and i couldnt speak very well to them and i avoided eye contact. I would be able to look into my friend's eyes but it would be harder to look into the eyes of a guy that i liked. It depends on who she is. Not everyone will act the same especially shy girls.

Just listens and doesn't talk much. Doesn't reply much. Acts arrogant to the point where it seems she doesn't want to pursue a relationship.
