Guy's Behavior

Can anyone explain why this guy always goes out of his way to talk and start convos with me?

Today another worker laughed and giggled and said "he's always smiling when he sees you and looking for you." The thing is - I don't know if he likes me as more than a co worker - he does not show off or do anything to attract me when he sees me - he actually acts stupid around me - because he wants to hide the fact he is a super visor and spy - if he seems too intelligent - people will catch on and they will hide their true selves around him - this is not the guy I've been posting about - this is yet another spy who works at my business - I've caught on to about 5 spies or more - this guy acts like he likes me cause he pays a lot of focus on me - I have no idea why - like I'm one of many workers and I try hard but I'm not perfect - he really likes me as a worker but I don't know why he keeps trying to be in conversation and interaction and connection around me
