I noticed most guys prefer straight hair why?

It might be a silly question, but in my experience with the guys I know and dated a lot of them preferred my hair straight.
Some were even rude enough to ask me to straighten it permanently.
Of course a few prefer or like curly hair but they are much less weirdly enough.
I never understood why🤷🏿‍♀️ maybe they perceive it more feminine?

I went for no preference, although I do find I prefer straight hair on most women. I think you pull off the curls really well though.

"Why" is really difficult. I have to think about what it does visually and in terms of tactile (I think those are the two main senses I'm operating by). For tactile it's a bit simpler. If we take something like this:

Then I still think she looks very cute but maybe it'd be difficult to run my fingers through her hair in intimate moments. I might have to sort of work "around the hair". Whereas if she has something a bit straighter like this, there isn't that problem:

In terms of the visual, I think straighter hair tends to be narrowing/slimming for the face. I don't know why. But I think on more women than not, it tends to be flattering to sort of narrow/slim the face. Not all though. Some can really pull off the super curly thing, and I usually find they're the ones that have sort of "cute" features that play well off of it.

I might also just be influenced too much by Caucasian and Asian ideas of beauty where curly hair is quite rare. I think there is a little bit more to it than that though.

I get more male attention when I straighten my hair but more women compliment me when I have my hair in its natural state. I prefer wearing my natural hair but people always try touching my hair, I hate it, so I either straighten my hair or get a straight sew in. Less people touching me.

Lovely curves with long wavy/curly hair always were the "ideal" I learned from my parents and I thought it's like that for majority of the people.

It wouldn't have to be straight to be considered classy. I can go out with my friends or a date wearing the same articles of clothing, hacket, shirts, pants, shoes, but doesn't mean they would both be classy.

I don't really know! I've only dated women with shoulder length, or longer, straight hair. I never thought about it!! Thanks for bringing it up, and now I am thinking!! I don't think I am biased, or against curly hair, but I have never dated one with curly hair!

Weirdly i'm this way and can't explain it, I don't mind straight or wavy hair but don't like curly hair and there's no reason for it. Straight also hangs lower and easier to run your fingers through, which is desirable for a women you like

On my girlfriend I do because too me it just looks better and it is natural to her anyway. But I do like when she adds a bit of fullness as she styles her hair whatever way she does so the ends are a bit more waved or whatever it is called. I just know I like how she does her hair.

I prefer straight hair and in general I think I'm more attracted to girls with straight hair but it's not an issue if a girl has curly hair. If she has curly hair I wouldn't ask her to straighten it.
