Why is he trying to put me down, is something really wrong with me?

Me and my boyfriend been together for a while he is 20 years older than me. He always called me beautiful now he's calling me average looking and comparing me to other woman. He said no other guy will love me like he does, that he was average looking too and he can't live without me. I'm confused... why is he trying to put me down?

Cause he's noticing the age gap the older he gets, and by putting you down he thinks he can assure you won't leave him for someone younger or better looking. And tbh that considered mental abuse and brianwashing... I'm not gonna say leave him but you have a big decision to make

Jesus Christ.. you already know the answer to this. If he keeps you feeling subpar you won't believe u can get better... furthermore, a man should never make his woman feel she is average.. when u are truly in love, you see your significant other as being the most beautiful thing in the universe. Eww he is old and insecure- leave him-itll only get worse.
