I can't speak for every guy, but I think I gave off some clear signs to my last crush. But even when I did that, she still wasn't sure because I was also very distant.
First and most obvious clue: I smiled A LOT when I was around her. I couldn't help but smile from everything about her.
Other clues were:
-I remembered everything about her. Somehow I always knew stories she told me weeks ago, her birthday, things she liked and didn't like, the names of her family that I'd never met and so on.
-Another clue was that I actually tried to be alone with her often. I would arrange things so that we would magically be alone, and I would ask her a lot about her opinions and really find out who she was and make jokes and try to make sure we had a good time. I would want our time together to last as long as I could, without seeming clingy or pushy.
- I would compliment unusual things. I would not overtly tell her she was beautiful. I told her she did a brilliant speech, or really rocked blue, or that the art she made was exciting. I wanted my compliments to stick and mean a lot to her. And I only said things I meant.

But at the same time I rarely was very shy and would probably hide my intentions of being with her too much. I would spend time with others when we met at parties, I would hang around other women too in hopes she would feel some jealousy, I would rarely make contact in our free time, and I would make our communication mostly about practical life things and bigger life questions and not overtly flirting for fun.
I tied to show her my best self. Show her that I had my own life, my own style, independence. I wanted to give her lots of space to miss me, wonder about me, watch me from afar. I just made sure she always left with something to think about.

To answer shortly: I would smile a lot, make sure she noticed me and try my best to make our shared time a good time.

Sex and wanting to fuck you is important. It is an important first step. But I would say the only way you can really know is if he wants to hang out with you more an do things with you. If he wants to hang out with you one on one then thats usually a clear sign he either is falling in love with you or you are his best friend. What is important is that he isn't ashamed to be out in public with you alone. If you have sex with the guy and he all of a sudden wants to keep hanging out with you an doesn't dissappear? Then he's falling for you.

I hear ya on this one! When a guy is interested, he will ‘think’ he is being obvious about his feelings... but in reality, to us, his behaviour will appear weird! So generally, I look out for weird, unexplained behaviour! Lol 😂
