Look at the most effeminate guys. Don't do that. Don't talk nasally. Command a powerful voice from deeper and lower. Talk staccato with shorter vowels, not legato. Don't extend your vowels. Holy shit, not ho-lyyyy shitttttttt. How are you? Not how arrrrrr youuuuuuuuu? Don't raise the pitch of your voice at the end of every statement as though each one is a borderline question.

I think I might be onto something with the questioning thing. I was thinking about it a bit more. Sometimes with the most effeminate voices, almost every statement sounds like a question on top of syllables.

Like, todayyy, I went shoe shopping? And, oh my gawd, I saw like the cutest boy? He was so cute?

You know, I'm exaggerating but it can be like that. It puts this inflection and higher pitch, however subtle, at the end of many statements almost like they're asking a question and seeking validation.

Meanwhile, you look at a manly voice and it can do the opposite -- it can make even a question sound like a statement:

How are you.

It's almost like a command. It's not, "How are you doing today?" It's like, "Tell me how you're doing." It turns even questions into a tone that sounds like a statement.

There's nuance and subtly, of course, and I don't suggest trying too hard, but this might help a bit to look at the extremities.
