Guys, *controversy question* Would you ever hit a women? If so, for what reason?

Yeah I would and have (I’m not an asshole who beats women I hate those people I’m not one of them). I hate having to say it because it’s so obvious and over said but I’d do it In self defense 😒 blah blah blah. But there’s some things women can get away with just because they’re women. Like if a girl did a certain thingy me like constantly insult me or key my car my attitude would be if you were a man I’d knock you out. But if a women hit me I’d hit her back. Like a slap. I’m slapping back. If I was cheated on I might but it all depends on the circumstances. And yeah that about it.

I said person because I don't care about the attacker's gender, age, size or anything else.
If you initiate violence, you deserve violence in return, whether you are a man, woman, child, granny or a rabid racoon.

Super old question I know, but I wanted to answer. I’ve never hit a girl in anger to date, and I do not expect that I ever will. The only exceptions would be 1. In self-defence, and 2. When fighting girls in kickboxing when it is full contact (hardest possible) strikes, cups and padding are not allowed and groin strikes are allowed - meaning that if the guy doesn’t go all out to win, it could end very badly for him - as I know from personal experience! But other than these two things, no, I would hope and expect never to hit a girl in anger.

@HartleyB yea I've hit a woman in self defense. I got into a fight with her boyfriend and I was beating him up so she got involved kick me in the head with her pointy boots I got up and was a bit confused she had her hands up in a fighting stance. Hit me twice and shouted "hit me hit me" so I thought to my self fuck it and hit her back! But then her boyfriend got up and they double teamed me and stomped me out. They never knocked me out and as soon as they stopped I got right back to my feet and was ready to keep fighting bemut they ran off.

If a woman begins punching you, usually we don't have much upper body strength and we punch different which usually isn't as effective, would you retaliate with a punch of your own? Or just attempt to subdue the woman? I am interested if it would be treated differently

I never have. But there are situations where I would. If I felt I needed to in order to defend myself I would. Tbh I have no training in restraining order grappling so if she’s very weak I could probably restrain a woman but a strong one I’d probably just have to hit.
if I saw a woman intentionally hurting one or my children I’d probably knock her out.

Not unless it was literally self defense. I guess if an argument with a girlfriend got really heated i might need to leave the room and cool off for a bit, but I'd never just strike her over some argument. If I'm using violence then it'll be as a tool to protect myself or a loved one, using it to end an argument is just the beginning of a whole new world of hell. Anyways, I'm a lover not a fighter, it's all about the makeup sex lol

Yes, out of self defense, during sex play if she is into it and in extreme cases as a wake-up slap if she is having a breakdown to get her to snap out of it. Never been in a situation where the last thing is needed though.

I don't think so. And if I had to defend myself I'd rather find another way to do it. In self defense, I wouldn't hit but try to restrain her arms or shove her away instead. For me, any violence at all would be a last resort for all cases.

Never would I start something or do it just to be an ass only in self defense. If a girl swings first she gets one free shot. Anything after that and it better kill me because if not I intend to swing back.

The law says whatever is done to you. You can do the exact same back. Which is self defence. But i wouldn't hit anyone not just women. However, if you attempt to harm someone and got knock out in the process, it's your own fault period lol

I would knowing full well that I would subsequently be arrested, convicted of domestic violence even though she had hit me first, and probably be sentenced to jail. Men have no right to self-defense if the attacker is a woman.

I see this saying a lot... it doesn't really make sense when you consider the fact that more often than not women are not equally as physically strong as men so it would not be an equal left, or right.

But I get that the right is used as a play on the "right" to do something, but women don't have the right to assault someone either, it is just taken less seriously because we usually can't deal as much damage just with our hands as men often can.

So my question then would be, would you take physical threats from a woman seriously enough to ever initiate the physical fight?

For example if a woman was in your face like guys do to intimidate each other, would you ever throw the first punch? Would that answer differ if it was a man?
