What does it mean if my boyfriend ordered for me at a resturaunt?

I asked my boyfriend what he wanted and then he asked me and i told him and then when it came to order he ordered for both of us. He has only done this once so far

It means that he ordered for you at then restaurant. He took the lead. That's what a leader does. If it's not what you wanted, maybe next time tell him to wait before making hour orders. He simply got the job done and easier for you. So I say just be thankful. Though he should have asked priori before just ordering it
