When is a drunk dial more than a drunk dial?

A guy friend of mine used to love drunk dialing me when he is with our friends partying and I couldn't go.

A week ago when I drunk dialed him he couldn't pick up. The next day I apologized and said I couldn't remember why. He immediately stated that it was because I liked him. Since the reception was sh*tty I asked him to repeat what he said and he changed it completely to saying that I drunk dialed out of retaliation.

So here is my question - he drunk dials me when he is with our friends, when I do it he immediately thought its cause I liked him. Does that mean his previous drunk dials meant something? Or did he change his words because he realized he didn't want to make it sound like he liked me?

It means he likes you and doesn't have the guts to call you unless he is under the influence of alcohol and when he is drunk he thinks of you. Or he is asking for a booty call. However, if a guy likes you he should respect you and not call you while he is drunk. Good luck!

Well he does call other times just fine, he just has the tendency to do it when drunk too.

I was wondering about why he would think I crushed on him if I did it. Does it mean he likes me if he does it in that case?

Yea he likes you & since that's the reason he calls you drunk then he automatically thinks you do the same. ( call him drunk because you like him) ;)
