It's much more simple than it seems. Everyone's heard of "hard to get". We all know what it is. But realize this strange fact: Girls do it, and guys don't.

Let's say you've noticed that somebody in your life likes you. Girls will back off, not come on too strong, etc. etc. But if guys notice a girl that they are attracted to seems to like them or is friendly to them, they will grin like a puppy dog and be super friendly and attentive any time they're around that girl, as if to say "Here I am! Here I am! I'm right here! I'd love to be your boyfriend if you wanna! Any time at all! Just give me a signal" And it promptly ends. The guy walks away wondering why it wouldn't work out if she liked him originally.

Girls hate that sense of "I just knew no matter what I did he would never dump me." It makes her feel as if he doesn't value her for the things she DOES, and he isn't good enough to be SELECTIVE on who he chooses, and that she must be too good for him. Plus she gets bored because he televises exactly what he's thinking to her.

Here's the trick, that will work literally every time if you do it right. It will make you cool, it will keep you from being needy: Play "hard to get". Why does it work so well? Because guys never do it.

One reason guys don't play "Hard to Get" is because it doesn't seem applicable. Typically, the woman does not try to "get" the man. So you don't envision a scenario where you would use such a thing. But here's the method: First off, she has to like you to start out with. This will rarely make a girl like you, only increase the interest they already have, allowing you to move forward without being a chump. Now, the first time you meet a girl, go ahead and do the puppy dog thing. Be friendly, act like you're friends. Be cool if you can. Then the second time you interact with her (Or if you've already known her for a little while and you're just now reading this), act cold and disinterested. Almost ignore her. Don't act rude or mean. Just act like you've got something else on your mind and you haven't really noticed her. Then the next time you see her, act very friendly again.

It sounds manipulative, but this is just the kind of complexity that women love to decipher. First she will feel secure in thinking that you like them and that they could have you easily. Then the second time you meet and you seem like you haven't noticed her, she will say "What? I thought he liked me? First he did this...what is going on?" Then, when she sees you again, she will have been thinking about you and hoping you'd look at her. When you're really friendly she'll receive a huge gratification from your attention. Repeat until you are dating. ;)

Women are complex and men never understand them. Interestingly, women want men to be the same way. Suddenly you're not boring, you're not wearing a neon sign telling how you feel, and she's trying to figure you out. Which she'll never do because nothing circumstantial is even causing your actions.

I think that its a few qualities that make a guy appear mysterious. Its the guys quiet demeanor. He doesn't say much maybe the way he dresses he has an edgy look that makes you want to know more and that no one seems to know much about him which adds to the mystery.

Wellll you are on the right track because mystery is essential. My current love interest is just so damn mysterious, as am I, but here and there he knows enough to give compliments, that seem genuine. There few, so I know he really felt he needed to let me know then and there what he was thinking, and for the first time in my life, my heart melted! I've been in 2 relationships for 3 years straight, but this one, I think, I HOPE, is love.
