Guy friend kissed me and we made out but he said it wasn't serious?

So we’re good friends and stuff and him making a move and kissing me was unexpected.
like we were best friends actually. he's not living in my city now... however i reached out to him recently and asked about it.

i said

“things happened between us and honestly i dont want to be waiting for something that might or might not happen cuz that’s just a waste of my time lol or was that just a one time thing

I don't know I've been thinking about it lately ”

he replied:
”unm this is weird but it wasn’t anything serious”

in which i replied

“oh ok thats all i wanted to know
i was just wondering. i thought there was but im dumb dumb (he calls me dumb dumb lol)”

but yeah that was it...
he never replied...

will it be awkward? does he realize i like him or that he lead me on?

he's nor a bad guy and im surprised he did that bc he knows another guy did the ssme thing to me and how hurt and sad i was... do u think he thinks im hurt again?

Was the kiss bad? Did you not get into it? If it was not passionate and felt you weren’t into it, he may feel that you did not reciprocate properly so he is pulling back.

true... why do u think he kissed me then? if he never liked me? isn't that shitty? its so weird to me because we would hang out and talk for hours and stuff... like he was an actual good friend... but then he made that move and i thought he liked me...

- There's something more to the story that you don't know about. He might like somebody else or there might be another woman in the picture, so he therefore doesn't want to commit to you/give you any hope. It could be something else but a third party is the case usually.
- He genuinely just wanted to kiss you. He's attracted to you, and he wanted to kiss you, so he did it. Men can easily differentiate between attraction and feelings as you probably already know.

I'm sorry that you're hurt but either way you know he's attracted to you :). And I guess when a guy says something like this it's always best to accept his words as they are because guys are very direct in their words and actions, and this is where us females usually get hurt. You know what they say - never let a man tell you no twice.

and he was talking to someone but he broke it off he said. that day he also asked me if i was talking to anyone. but yeah... he would always ask about other guys. he’s currently not in my city anymore and he's job searching and he won't know where he’ll end up. i dont think he's talking to that girl anymore she's in a diff country and he doesn't like long distance

i just got asked out on a date but i dont like this guy 😂😂.
its just super shitty. im so sweet and soft and he knows it I've cried to him many times.

this past guy friend did the ssme thing to me. and i would tell him about it and he's like “its not good for your mental health... he's not a good guy... stop talking to him”

it just hurts bc i really considered him a friend. we would go out to eat and talk for hours about our families and stuff. it was so nice...
