Why would a guy show off his car to me?

One of my coworkers just got a car and he’s always driving by me blowing his horn. And he stops to talk to me in his car and offered to let me ride in it

sounds like he's either being "very friendly" or he's in the mindset that fancy car = easy woman... unfortunately there are guys out there who assume they have a nice care they can get any woman they want and they will be able to bed them just cos of the car... they treat them like crap but think that behaviour won't matter cos of their car...
