I didn’t get passed the, “intimidated”... “so attractive” part when I stopped. I stopped because before going any further I can say, no, it is not true. At least it isn’t for a large number of “men”. 1: he is too shy to make eye contact

Well if he doesn't look at you at all that he's probably not attracted or very careful to look at you when you dont know (you must be aware). BUT! If you know that he's looking at you quite often but looks away as soon as you catch him, he likes you.. he is just shy. The thing is when you see realy really beutiful woman you can't really get rid of these thoughts that she's basically a goddess and you are not even worth looking at her beauty. It may seem stupid, but even really confident guy can struggle with understanding that no girl is perfect when it comes to very beautiful woman. For woman she can be attracted by look of a guy but still its really about confidence and strong personality i think. For man in my opinion just high physical attractivness is more devastating, because it literally freeze your brain.
Another thing could be that he just doesn't want to show you that he's that interested, because its known fact that needenes is a big turn of for woman so we basically have this problem where you like this girl but you can't show them that much interest, because when you do they gonna let you down. Thats the fact, happened many times to my friend.
