Why does he try to hide his girlfriend from me?

My friends with benefits of 2 years keep telling me he’s single, and not interested in anyone. However he has posted pictures where it looks like he’s on a dates, trips, her dancing on him, a guy I gift with a letter that said “hbd babe”

I’ve had friends with benefits before and guys have been honest with me. I feel like I should know if we are having sex. why can’t be be honest if he has a girlfriend or another girl on the side? I’m having a hard time believe he’s single because of this. What should I do, if I know he maybe not be honest.

You're not in a relationship with him, you're a friend with benefits. That pretty much gives him a free pass to go elsewhere if he likes. All you can expect is that he has enough respect to use protection if he's with more than one person at once.
