Why did my ex ghost me but hasn’t deleted me on social media?

Won’t go into boring details but started talking to my ex again, who I was with on and off from when we were 13 to 26.

We are currently living very far from one another so were texting a lot everyday for months.

Then one day I noticed he had blocked my number and blocked me on snapchat.

I was really hurt as my last message to him was me saying I was confused about what was going on with us as he has started to ignore me a lot and his last message to me was that he missed me - then I was blocked.

It has been a few months now. He has kept me on Facebook and Instagram but I haven’t reached out to him since he blocked me as I feel a bit stupid. Why has he kept me on social media if he doesn’t want anything to do with me?

I mean for him to go backwards and forward like that means he does have some feelings for you and is struggling to deal with them too. So the space is probably to try and figure it out.

I don’t know why guys do the dick move and ghost tbh. I told a guy I dated off for this once and when he came back at least he’d learned the lesson because the second time around he showed some honesty so I could appreciate that.

Ad for keeping you on social media, I don’t know what his motivations are but he seems to want to keep tabs on what you’re doing in life. That could be good or bad but without much else to go on it’s impossible to attempt a good guess.

I just found out through a friend that he’s actually with someone else and has been for a while and lied to me about it. Don’t know why he hasn’t blocked me though!
