Guys, why do you stop talking to a girl all of a sudden?

There was a guy I met last year, we hit it off, and we would talk a lot. He used to open up to me a lot about his past relationship as well as talking about life, love, and interests. He would always seem engaging, and once while I had a rough spot he helped me. We talked for months, and it seemed like he liked talking to me. When it got weird, was once I suggest we should meet for dinner and he agreed, but after that, he never got back to me and after that whenever I would message him he would either ignore or it would be one-sentence answers. I am just wondering, what would make a guy stop talking to you for out of the blue?

She left me in the wind once, I said okay maybe she's busy. But when you text to her on a chat and she comes there day after day and she doesn't even bother to check me out, that's called that she left me in the wind a second time. So all of a sudden, I stopped talking to her and deleted the chat and the app.

Some people are bad at keeping connections, he probably just saw you as a friend, so he maybe sense you starting to like him, and he was not interested.

Did not like him, I strictly saw him as a friend. We even talked about each others relationship problems.
