What does it mean if a guy remembers something about you?

A guy was complimenting my hair colour the other day and he said “stay this colour, don’t go purple again”

I had purple hair briefly in December 2019. Could it mean that he’s into me if he remembered something like that?

He could've just remembered it. I have a good memory, so sometimes about my friends I'll remember stuff like that. Although, if he starts remembering a lot of stuff about you and you're talking a lot, then yeah he might be interested.

Maybe, maybe it doesn't mean he's interested. But either way people tend to remember notable things about other people.
