Hard to say, it could or maybe not. Like with you most likely. You probably remember some things about someone and it doesn't necessarily "mean" anything. It's funny sometimes what we remember in life, and what we don't. However it could "mean" something. But it could also just be the way he is. Some people are really good at remembering details. Only he could really answer this as far as "meaning anything".

I make a point of remembering everything a girl likes. Like her favorite flower or how she takes her coffee. Sometimes I can even predict it. I knew one girl liked black roses before she told me. There was nothing to indicate it other than her personality. A year later, she complained her boyfriend didn't remember her favorite flower. I said, "Black roses."
